MBT was founded in 1994 when a small group of highly talented lawyers left their large Chicago law firms to open a practice that would better serve their clients' needs. Our goal was to deliver the responsiveness, flexibility and cost-effectiveness of a smaller firm with the expertise and resources of a larger firm. Toward that end, MBT has assembled a first-class team of attorneys with wide-ranging and sophisticated legal expertise, proven courtroom experience, and a keen understanding of our clients' industries and needs. Today, our firm has over 89 attorneys and is among the 40 largest law firms in Illinois. MBT is headquartered in Chicago, with offices in Dallas and Phoenix.

Budgets are used extensively in litigation matters and we encourage discussion of fees at the outset to assure client satisfaction and avoid surprises.
